The park will close it. Law suits are commen tools to close areas. Same thing at Suprise canyon, Devils. They were just waiting for Ca to purchase.
Just a matter of time.
Whats sad is back in the 60's there were 1/4 mile drag strips everywhere, kept me off the road dragging...all those little places including lions raceway gone where do you think all these wheelers are going to go??
So can you possibly post any dates published in the SD newspapers about court dates if this goes that far? I think we need to show some support here or the enviromentalists will run right over this thing. We do too much good to be shut out of the lands we love to travel and take care of. :2:
yea i was pretty bumbed about the CORVA event, but I guess I should have expected it, my radiator and water pump blew, and my buddies that were suppose to go to the even canceled. Went anyway, solo. Great time I have never been there and had a blast!

As of now the Safari is still on. Our trail does not go into the Big Horn Sheep area but there are other issues that need to be addressed and worked out if possible. TDS Officals have a meeting with the OHMVD on Wednesday 24 Jan. As of this time we do not know if we have to move the Safari or have it as usual. We are making plans if necessary to move it on the otherside of S22. Stay tuned.

well, now instead of having an organized event, you have 400+ rigs tranversing the area of TDS in various directions unorganized. Gee, let me think about this...do you suspect the potential for greater damage will occur now because they received an injunction? This really sucks!
It never stops with these people, they stop the organized events then they say "look, there are still all these problems" then they use that as an avenue to close the area down alltogether. A step by step process.....MATT

I just found this on the tds4x4 website. TDS has been canceled for 2007 for Truckhaven. They have filed for a permit to hold it in Ocotillo Wells instead. Here is the link: http://www.tds4x4.com/safariinfo.htm
