    Hello guys, I just did the Julian loop at Anza Borrego...it was nice and cold...have fun with the pictures...

    Roberto, Great photo spread. Where is that trail head at? I'd like to run that. Were you just stuck on those rocks or did you break something?

      nice little trail. Now that i live in san diego I need to get out to Anza Borrego. I will be down there this weekend, a couple of guys I know are going to be at Truckhaven for some CORVA event. Hope its fun

        thanks Rat Patrol, I was stuck, mainly because I have no lockers yet... ful road was the trail boss, below is what he wrote about it:
        "The trail is a 16 mile lollipop shaped loop that starts out east of Julian in the little community of Banner (blink and you'll miss it). This trail does not have much technical challenge but offers nice views of the Cuyamaca foothills and Laguna Mountains before you descend into the Anza Borrego Desert. The trail is rocky in places and the Oriflamme Canyon switchbacks are narrow and steep, although CDF did widen the shelf road in 2005. If you avoid all the big rocks it is fairly mellow, but you can also try out some rocks to make this more difficult. The loop consists of three canyons, climb Chariot Canyon, descend Oriflamme Canyon, and loop back up Rodriguez Canyon"

        this was last year trip pictures, nice place...don't miss the opportunitty to wheel there... the trail report is under trail reports section...
