Thanks, I knew the time was 9 AM, but no one said where to meet. Then there was a post about Arrow Bear.

Ok, I will be there with a guest at 9. We will be coming up from West Los Angeles, so we will start up at about 6, earlier if the weather changes.

        What CB Channel? 4? 10?

                OK, keep your pants on

We will be meeting at 9am, at Fawnskin, pulling out at 9:30am. Be ready to hit the trail then! Gas, food, etc. We will be on channel 4. Be prepared for temperatures no higher than in the 40's - obviously lower, the higher we go in elevation. Be smart: dress warmly, have enough food and water for lunch, snacks and possibly dinner. Never know what will happen in winter. Snow is forecast for tonight (Wed)

We will do John Bull West to East, then head to Gold Mountain and run that West to East.

Gold Mountain trail ends between the Discovery Center and Holcomb Valley Road. We will be on the far side of the lake a few miles from the turn off to Big Bear CIty.

You can count me in for this run. It should be interesting if there is snow out there.
