Where are we going to meet up to start the run??
I think we'll meet at Fawnskin, then head up 3n14. I'm going to get my maps out and verify what we'll do. May end up on the east side instead.

Plan is to start at 9am and be off the trails by dark.

Please make sure if you come, dress appropriately. Assume you'll get stuck - plenty of warm clothes, extra socks, etc. Damn, I sound like my mother!

Trail report from Big Bear on 12-15-06:

The whole trail was wet with a light snow covering in most places. One tree was across the road (3N93) and blocking it, another tree was on the road but not blocking. 3N16 had numerous tree snags along the sides of the road.

Jim Hoeltgen lives in Big Bear and spends over 1000 hours a year on the trails. He can be a valuable resource for current weather and trail conditions.
