  • New Year's Day Run

Thinking of planning a New Year's Day run. Will be moderate to difficult depending on snow levels. Lower Largo continuing on to Holcomb or Gold Mountain and John Bull. Anyone interested?

Yeah, had to get a second job though. So now I still have the jeep, but no time to wheel!

Yeah, I could make it New Years Day. I would also be interested it doing something more than moderate if there is enough interest.

Just keep in mind that difficulty will vary greatly depending on the amount of snow on the trail, rain, mud etc. I'll post requirements as it gets closer to that date, but right now I wouldn't recommend stock vehicles.

Frankly, I never recommend stock vehicles for anything, but maybe that is just me.

Don't have the trail # right now, but it's the trail that crosses Holcomb Creek and continues on to Holcomb Trail. As you're heading north on 3n14, it's the trail on the left just before the cement "bridge" over the creek.
