Well, it looks like I will be the first to start posting up some pics! First off, I would like to thank everybody for such a great time yesterday. We got to meet some great people, had a great time and look forward to attending more trips with all of you! Well...here are just a few pics!

This was about the time the folks from Northridge (?) lost their brakes... My wife gets bored with that stuff so she went to take pictures of trees while the carnage was sorted out.

End of the trail, End of the day for Barb and I, and end of this post. Had a GREAT time, thanks for putting it together and I certainly want to run this trail again. It was difficult for me to find pictures of my Jeep without at least one of the wheels stuffed into the fender... we need a lift!

Cool pics Desert Valdez. The black Cherokee is mine...the name is Mark.

It sure was a nice day up there and the crowd was awesome...met a bunch of really cool people.

I wish I wasn't the only one to have to get winched off of some rocks though :oops:

If anyone else has pics of the black cherokee I would love to see them.

i had a nice wasteful 6 hour drive on saturday. found rat in the gas station parking lot repairing an axle at about 7pm, and everyone else had split. no trail runs, just drive back home.

i should have known better than to drive up there at 3pm and try to meet up with a group that was already wheeled out from the day.

good news is the lift rides like a dream on the freeway.

Me and Mike never hooked up. My cell phone didnt have servicemost of the time either. Reminds me of a choice I made one time. several years ago I had a choice, go to big bear forest fest without a locker in my jeep, or install the locker I had just got and go next year more prepared. I put the locker in and went wheeling with my friends in Vegas Valley Four Wheelers instead. SORRY MIKE at least its done now.

Yep, fixed the retaining plate on the passenger side rear axle, got home and found a WHOLE bunch more dingers and worn out parts. Looks like Rat Patrol is going to the hospital for a while. Rode 'er hard, rode 'er long. She'll be ready For JV. Damn straight!

Had another great day in BB. Thanks Matt. Everyone that came was awsome, and the weather was perfect. Dishpan at night ROCKS!
