  • Dishpan Springs Run Report

On Sunday, June 11, George Kropp (TDS SD) let me ride along with him while he ran Dishpan Springs (downhill). The trail is steep and and deeply eroded. We had originally planned to run the trail in both directions so I left my Jeep at Tent Peg campground. We encountered a lot of uphill traffic, and we decided that instead of getting stuck behind the other vehicles, we would return to the starting point via the highway. I forgot to charge my camera battery after the previous night's run, so I didn't get very many pictures.

If you don't like the way I drive, stay out of the bushes!

On Sat. we had 3 vehicles do White Mtn., in the afternoon and then Butler Peak at dusk and Gold mountain after dark. On Sunday as Russ stated I drove deep creek trail going down hill with him getting out to do some spotting. Supe you should of stayed you would of enjoyed the trail.

Erik that's the "new" bridge that has replaced the water crossing.
