Night Run 6/10 - Butler Peak and Gold Mountain

Yeah i live up there and we went on some runs through big bear (holcome (sp?) and dishpan) on sunday and there is definently no snow there.

SW, you were up at Dishpan Sunday? Were you going up or down? We passed each other I'm sure. It was FRMNJJ, Drewminator, AA, SD and me. What a ride! Gonna go do it again as soon as I can. Lets hook up and run it sometime.

Russ, Sounds like a great run. I can't go, I have to do some maintenance (ask anyone that was on the Dishpan run with me last Sunday, squealing brakes driving everyone nuts)! forgive my friend.........he is getting old. too much wind through the head and those brakes finally finished him off..........were working on him.

Sat Run

I want to run white mountain with you on saturday, not sure of many camping sites, but i pretty familiar with the area.

I' be intrested in doing White Mt. as well as the night run.
Russ do you have a time and place to meet for the afternoon run?
SW are you still intrested in doing the afternoon run?

Let's plan to leave the Fawnskin Fire Station at 1:00 pm for the afternoon run to White Mountain. The first few miles should be graded dirt road (3N14), so I don't plan to air down until I get closer to the trailhead (3N17), although that may change if the road hasn't been graded recently. I expect to be back around 6 pm, which will give us time to get something to eat before leaving at 7:30 pm for Butler Peak and Gold Mountain. CB Channel 4. PM me if you need my cell phone number.
