I once did JTF missions in Jacumba Mtn. area. Jacumba Peak to be exact... I like that area, lots of big rocks to crawl over![COLOR="darkred"]"Death Smiles at Everyone... Marines Smile Back."

Not sure what peak Steve took us up but did a pana on the top. It really was a great day out! Clear cool and slightly windy.

You'd know Jacumba Peak as there is a radio tower near the top. Our HMMWV's wouldn't climb to the top, so we did drop off's at the tower and walked the rest of the way. Great shots of the area though. Is there a campground anywhere near there? I seem to recall people in campers near the base of the mountain, but not sure if there is an actual "campsite" nearby.[COLOR="darkred"]"Death Smiles at Everyone... Marines Smile Back."
