Yes actually had to do some wheelin in the snow to get home , took back roads and the woods to avoid the tourists slippin and sliding. Really impressed by them, was axle deep in drifts in 4 hi and went right through. Very happy.........chains are not required to have on with 4x4's, just have to have them packed somewhere............Does anybody know if Lowes carries chains ? I need to get some

I am sure it will be a bit more difficult in some spots. It all depends on how much snow in still on the ground. A lot may melt by Sat. Bring the kids along, Its always a family event!

Bring lunch, snacks, water or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage and dress warmly! It will be chilly up on the trails.

I think I speak for everyone on this site that the beer etc is for when the wheelin' is done and your butt is firmly planted in a chair around the campfire. Not for when your wheels are moving.

Lowes out by me did not have chains. Super Wal-Mart carries them. Got a size big enough to go around my 33" 15x10's. I don't remember the item # but reading the package for sizes was challenging. Remember to give yourself enough time to fit them to your tires. They may need to be cut to fit. I needed to cut 3 links off my set for them to fit properly. Best to do it in the garage where it's dry rather than on the trail.

I may be out there Sat. if all goes well.
