I'll be leading a run through Hackberry Creek on Saturday Nov 12.

HC is located SE of Superior, it is a scenic trail with some tougher up-hill boulder fields.

Rating 3.5

I have found a new way in through Oak Flats Camp ground that adds another mile or two and a small play area.

We will stop and gas up in Superior.

Meet at Trader Joes Oracle and Magee at 8am - leave by 8:15

Bring everything you will need.

The last time I was out there I came out the way you are going in. This is the best part of the trail IMO. Be sure to enjoy it, the entire Queen Creek area is on the chopping block thanks to our illustrious governor who has said she will approve a land swap with the mining companies so they can do some block cave mining in this area....which will permanently close the entire area to the public, forever. In exchange, the state will be getting some worthless flat grassland.
