      oops found the ratings...Desert? I live in the desert. 1hr from truckhaven, 1 hr from Pynion, 30 mins away from Supersition...and finally cool enough to use them.

        Well, sounds like azusa is out. Maybe the rock pile at hungry valley. I'm not sure on doing milller. The rig is not street legal and I could get a ticket on the paved highway entering lockwood or the paved road out of alamo mountain {end of miller} or I would have to trailer it and drive the trail backwards. Hmmm.....see how fast I could run it alone hehehe

          I am starving to find decent places closer than the hammers,,,,um, sorry, "The Hammers".

            Hungry valley is up near the gorman exit off I-5, about 1/2 hour past magic mountain.

              Hungry Valley/Miller Jeep Trail

              I can't say there's anything up here that's closer than "The Hammers," but it's about as far ... Calico, Stoddard (just south of Barstow), and Fairview (Apple Valley) are great areas. Check out the gallery or maps/coors sections here for more specific info.

                hmmm, well, that looks about 2 hrs from me, If I'm going to endure 2 hrs on the freeway feelin my fillings get rattled outta my head, I'll go the JV.

                no hungry valley for me.
