I'm going to visit Saline Valley in Nov. Anybody been up Steel pass lately? The morning report from DVNP says it is washed out but we still want to try getting up it. We'll have 4 wranglers?

Saline Valley

Capo Valley 4 Wheelers ran Saline Valley Nov 11-14, via Cerro Gordo, Conglomerate Mesa camp first night, Lippincott Grade, racetrack, tour of Scotty's castle + gas, second night camp at Oriental Wash, then off to Crankshaft connection, Eureka Dunes (700 feet!), Dedecora canyon, Upper Sp ring, (kept our eyes diverted during pass on middle and lower springs) (except for Chuck, hey Rex that guy is pointing at you!), up rest of Saline, by Willow Creek, blue monster mines, into Big Pine, then MOnday ran Inyo mountains and Mazorka Canyon and Alabama Hills.
