        How close to Fresno are you?
        There are some good trails above Fresno, near Shaver Lake.
        These include Swamp Lake trail, Ducy Ershim trail.

        There are many more that are not as hard as those two.
        Friends that have done ducy, say it is probably harder then the Rubicon.

        I have also done the trails on Bald Mountain, and Brewer trail. Bald has some hard stuff, and most have by-passes.
        Brewer is not too bad, and runs down to a lake.

          The fresno area has great trails from mild to wild. I personaly like Swamp over Dusy because its half the distance 15 mile compared to 30 miles. But there are other trails and many lakes in the area.
