7 Oaks Dam

This weekend i ended up crusing up to the 7 oaks dam area...took 1N12-1S12 where it dead ended about 7 miles up stream of the dam. Pretty easy going trail untill the river bottom...here 4wd is needed because of the fine white sand (glamis quality). There are also alot of ROCKS to play around on...yeah i know...but its right next to the road and the only marks that are left are in the sand. THere is also a steep access road to a water ploom on the side of the hill...kind of fun. had some action shots but the camera goofed them up. ended up making it back at about 1200. Heres some pics.
