When I first went to the mountains in Mexico the guys at work said, "look out for bandits, there's lots of them down there."

When I got back I said, "you guys were right, I had them showing me around!"

Now that is funny

we were up at the park of the constitution this weekend and I can tell you that EVERY local we saw never threatened us,
rumours, LOL
we had a good one crossing back in Tecate. one of the guys in the group was his first time to Mexico, he asked about 50 times if he needed a passport and we told him no. When I went through the border I told the officer the story and he agreed to ask for his passport and hassle him. We all pulled over about a mile pass to wait for the guy, I guess they really played him up, he was so mad he wouldn't even talk to us for about 20 miles.
