So Cal Hikers in Anza Borrego

This is not only about trail runs it has other things we did as well. Hope it is ok to post it here.


After returning from the Mojave Road Trip we headed down to meet up with our friends in the So Cal Hikers Group. To practice navigating with our GPS units. And to play around in the desert. It was a great time, with Indian Petroglyphs, plenty of wildflowers, some hiking, Orienteering and offroad driving. We saw some interesting insect behavior and snakes. Yep the snakes are out. This trip includes photos of an agitated Sidewinder.

We seem to have a lot of people going down to Anza Brrego this year.
A trend is starting

Well there is quite a few places to explore. There is Ocotillo OHV area, there is the Superstitions and then there is Truckhaven. Just plenty of places to have fun. Next up for me is Calico.
