Swamp Lake 8/28

Well after getting our butts kicked on the Rubicon with everything fixed (I hope) we are heading out to swamp lake on saturday and will come home on sunday.

It's by Fresno CA

Outside Shaver Lake. Same area as Ducy.

Be careful. This trail is probably harder than the Rubicon.

Depends on if you take bypasses or you run the true Rubicon trail. If you ran through little sluice, nothing on Swamp will compare. If you took all the bypasses on Rubicon, you're in for a treat, no bypasses!

Swamp can be run in a single day, stopping to fish at two of the lakes, but you're running sunrise to sunset. If you camp along the trail, you don't need to run each day very fast, or far.

BTW, Swamp is my favorite trail of all time.

i am leaving for huntington lake in the morning, but the jeep isnt coming.

Just an FYI, It's Dusy, not Ducy. (Actually Dusy/Ershim) Don't mean to be an arse, just thought it would help to have the proper name if you're doing a web search or something.
