Trail Run: Cougar buttes run

I was thinking of doing another run at the Cougar Buttes.
Again taking a misc. route through the various trails out there.

Date: Sat. Feb. 1st ?

I'm going to postpone the run till a later date.
The memorial service for Ron will be on Sat. Feb 1st.
I'm planning on attending the service.

Might need to test out the new high steer before pulling the rear axle. I might try and make this one. Got my new tires last night.

I will be at the VV gun show . Part of the time I will be working the Booth for Paul Schrader, candidate for sheriff.

I would totally go if I could Mike..but between the exhaust system I bought ysterday and now this DS situation...not happening.

Can you wait and run a few of us through on Feb 7th? I'm coming out for the hammers....but of course, don't know my way around the trails..b/c I couldn't run them on saturday with you guys. Thinking of heading to Calico instead if I can't find someone to lead the way in CB.. Don't need to be wondering around out there with newer wheelers and not know where I'm going.

We can be up there early friday AM for a run Feb 7th. Think we'll camp there and then run over to the Hammers to watch for a bit....but I don't plan on watching the whole time I'm there. I need to be on the trails too.

I would like to join this run, haven't ran Couger since the last floppy flop on Hammerdown. Jeep is all nice and perty now with new paint, could use some new beauty marks. Might be solo or with the camo XJ and my TJ. Saturday February 1st works.

I remember the first time Shant ran CB. I was just in awe how good feather foot could drive without lockers.I Need to show for this one.
