  • Trail Report: Bullfrog run

Had a fun day out on the Bullfrog trail yesterday. For many it was their first time on the trail.

We ran an easy version of BF after getting a late start. Lorie threw a drive shaft in the Cajon pass so after pulling it she was able to use front wheel drive and make to the CB's, but wasn't able to run the trail.

Perfect weather out on the desert yesterday. Thanks to all who attended, it was nice to take the Jeep out again.

    A few pix.

I love this one. With all the huge boulders, its like "How the heck did it get up there in the first place??"

possibly so - the double yoke was pretty bad, the center ball was toast. Also noticed the splines were pretty rough from maybe spinning on a rock or something. You could call Tom Woods Drive Shafts, but I think their price might be more??

So, should I just save myself the hassle of running it all over town trying to see otherwise? and just get it for the $340? Probable be back in my jeep by today or tomorrwow

Don't know who you are talking about here but Tom Woods rocks. I'm guessing you can get a new one from them for about the same. Mine, lengthened and modified were $360. They do very good work. And fast. You can send them the one you have too. They may fix it or just build a new one. But however you go, $340 is around the price you will pay just about anywhere.

I think my Tom wood double CV shafts were around $350 or so, that sounds about right.
