Took a fellow SD jeeper out to to Salton City yesterday. Played around in the man made area a little then headed out to the old section of where TDS used to be. Much funner. Weather was nice if not a little on the hot side. Notches were a bit worn but still fun. A lot of driving for just 4 hrs in 4low. 
2 1/2 ft of pure silt sand. No way we were getting through this one.
