    Directions for others coming from mojave;
    Leave Mojave and make a right on hwy 14. Primo burger will be on the right after the turn onto 14 in the first shopping center on the right. From primo burger to Jawbone ranger station is approx 19.2 miles. leave jawbone ranger station make a left on 14, get into right lane and turn right on randsburg rd. Travel 6.6 miles and turn left on dirt road. Take dirt road about 1.5 miles and should run into the group. Channel 4. Please be on time.
    That's it.

      guess what... i'm out erin got called in to work, mom's out of town, bro's going to willow springs, so i got stuck babysitting the new puppy (working on crate training, so he has to go out every 1.5-2 hours)

      at least i'll be able to work on my engine... almost done (cleaned and bolted up the head tonight)

        Head count for my household. My brother(5150), my dad(brian4.2), and myself. That's 3 jeeps total. 5150 with the yellow TJ, brian4.2 in the white TJ, me in the unlimited. I cant wait this is gonna be a blast!

          I would like to come out and meet with you all on this trip, is anyone heading out from the OC area. I just put a lift on my liberty, was not going to at first but after going out a couple times decided to get one. Can't wait to meet everyone.

                Everybody that goes sunday be careful, As of this afternoon on chp's website, there was flash flood warning in the jawbone canyon area, Hopefully the weather will be good for you, Right now there is alot of thunder clouds in the area... but its only friday..

                    We ran into one a while back. Not much of a flood but it was interesting being the first one to see water coming around the corner and towards us.

                      that sure would make it interesting!
                      it would be pretty scary to see a wall of water coming at you, with no where to go. just stuck in the "wash"

                        We went there a while back when it was filled with water from the previous nights rain...adds a different twist to it.

                            That was about 2 years ago when we had our first camp out there. We did a night run and a day run. I have pics going through the V notch with water running under my wheels.

                              I remember that day. We ran last chance the day you guys were setting up camp, or somthing like that. i rememberr pulling into your camp and being offered lots of good food after a long day. Then you all bailed for the night run and we headed home. first time i met most of the crowd here. Good times.
