That is one of the coolest forgotten pieces of desert, just out of town if I ever seen such a thing.
To bad people consider the desert a trash dump.
Loose rocks, big rocks, steep climbs it has all kinds a playground stuff. No canyons, so you can just wander around boulder fields pretty darn cool

Reminds me of a place out here near upper Aguanga on the 371. I've toyed with the idea of buying it and turning into an off-road park. Apparently someone else saw the potential too, because a large part of it has now been set aside as... (wait for it!) ... Wilderness Area.

Hey Art...when I was on my way home from the smog shop I noticed that we turn WAY to early... we were supposed to go about 3 more canyons almost to the bridge and the turn ...that would've put us into the heart off all the rocks...that's what I did last time...
Whata fun morning.... we'll have to do it again real soon....
              Thanx

Like I said meeting up at 6 AM at the Arco station wouldn't be a bad idea gives atleast 4 hours before it gets to hot.
There is enough stuff to freestyle crawl on for weeks. It was a pretty darn good birthday present fer sure
Windshield and fenders are back on, just have to swap tires and it's on the road again

I'm with fred, when it cools down we go out there for a week and build some great trails. This looks like a great place. Sorry I couldn't make it today.

At times life gets in the way of fun Curtis, those rock will be there for some time to come.
So no worries would be fun to drag some more of our more dedicated crew out there.
Chucky it's a cool playground for ya

Dang, I was just out there today but in a 10-wheeler hauling asphalt from Oro Grande to Johnson Rd. and the Aqueduct. Every time I drove by those rocks I thought... I got 10 wheels, tandem locks and axle locks... hmmm.

You'd burry that thing so quick lot. Not even 10 Jeeps would be able to drag you out

Still yuo look at rocks then those big tires on a big rig and it gets the mind going
