  • Trail Report: gold mountain/John Bull

Wow, What fun. Cool meeting everyone. Lets do it again. Good adventure, no major mishaps. Sorry got to do it, the licence plate digging on jeeps, got avenged. Difficult obstacles on the Bull made it interesting.

Any pictures? How'd you guys do on the Bull? And thanks to those who gave me a hand when I needed it, Kevin.

I sure had a great day, thanks to everyone who came out and to Jess for putting it together. John Bull gave some pretty good challenges, but everyone made it through.I hope someone got some photos! Can't wait for next time!

Thanks everyone for a great day!! As usual I walked out of the house without both cameras Ill remember them some day. Gatekeeper was a blast very entertaining and some good laughs etc.. The Bull was definitely dug out the worst I've seen but made it just that more interesting. Well maybe we can do it again soon, too much fun! Jess
I did it just the way you told me too!!!

I had a blast out there with everyone, thanks for the memorable trip. Had so much fun I just ran JB again today with a couple Toyotas. Holy crap did it get chewed up after we went. Totally different than even the day before. Made for some real good wheeling. I'm pretty stoked that I made it up the left line on the water fall today, no winch or straps! I'll post some pics I got on my phone. Definitely up for another go around. Thanks again
                  -Bobby

The very few pics. For how crowded the trail could have been we moved at a solid pace throughout the day

Some from today's run. Everything had changed. The gate keeper didnt even seem like the same trail head as yesterday, those two rocks everyone climbed had moved at least 15ft from where we hit them. The waterfall was even more dug up and silty. Tried the left nonetheless and made it so pretty happy about that one.

I first would like to thank jess for being a great trail boss. It was nice with that many rigs he keep every one moving. I was worried with that many rigs we would be like a bunch of turtles. I would also like to thank MTBIKBOB , JONAH , MRINELJ and others for helping me and my family up that deep hole water falls on the john bull trail . This was my first time wheeling with the my MJR crew , and it was nice to wheel with experince drivers that could point out multple lines to take. I have some gopro and pic i will try to post them latter in the weeek when i have time. Me an the family are looking forward to the next tip. Thanks ALLEN "MAY TIRES ALWAYS HAVE TRACTION".....

With the exception of gate keeper I thought the rest of the trail was about as rough as I've seen it. A great day indeed...

I was wondering who that was out there with the MJR stickers.

I was flying solo through the lighter stuff. Just doing the sightseeing thing. I do miss John Bull though...
