  • Trail Discussion: Advice: Bishop, CA

    Hello All;

    Looking for advice, I'm heading up to Bishop for a few days and want to get a day of wheeling in. The trip will be with the family, so I'm looking for something easy and scenic. Please advise.

    On the east side of Bishop you can take Silver Canyon up to the Bristlecone forest.
    On the west side of Bishop you can take the Coyote Flats trail up into the high backcountry - elevations are in the 8000 to 10,000 ft range. Very nice area. Both are Moderate 4x4 forest roads.

    I found this on the web

      Here's a link to my last Sierra Bishop adventure. Wheeler Ridge and White Mountain.
