Trail Report: Crafts Peak

The forest service has just recently opened the trail to Crafts Peak. I was driving by and noticed the gate is now opened. Nice trail and nice short hike to the summit.

This is one of my favorite places, it's up in the alpine of the SB Mt's. You get a 360 degee view of the area. So how have things been in Gerogia?

Things are great here in Georgia. I'm really loving the almost daily afternoon thunderstorms. Lots of photo opertunities everywhere.

I was driving by and noticed the gate is now opened.

Is that the 2N13 gate at the east side of the residential area in Green Valley Lake ?

It's 2n19, and since then, the gate is now locked again....I guess someone left both gates open over the weekend.

It's a nice area with some great views, but I think the gate is closed again. Hopefully it will be opened soon,
