Trail Report: I got a new Jeep

We spent the weekend in and around Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

Friday night we camped in Blair Valley.


It rained all night and we woke up to a double rainbow.


We headed to to Jacumba and checked out the Desert View Tower and Boulder Park.






We came back up S2 checking out many of the spurs.

We ended up in Plum Canyon for the night.


Sunday morning we headed into Borrego Springs for an open house at the Begole Archeology Research Center. We got to check out the Curator's Vault!






After the Begole Center we checked out Galleta Meadows Estates http://www.galletameadows.com/










We took lots of pictures of the spring bloom




Home at 5pm today. Another fantastic weekend in the desert.
