Trail Run: Nightmare Gulch and the El Paso Mtns - 1/29/12

I am planning a Sunday run in the Red Rock and El Paso Mtns area. We will start by going up Nightmare Gulch, then over the butte to Last Chance Cyn.

If you don't want to go home in the dark, then those that want to head out can take Last Chance back out to the road. As for me, I plan to go north and see the Holly Mine, Bickel Camp and Burro Schmidt's tunnel. Then, we will return down Last Chance Cyn.

Some of the roads that we are taking are not easy ones, so please have high ground clearance, tow points front and back, and skid plates for the important bits.

Meeting place is at the turn off for Abbott Road at Hwy 14.
Meeting Time is 9am. We will leave for the trail at 9:15am.[/COLOR]

The only special requirement is that you show up. Otherwise, we will just have to sit at Hwy 14 and watch the traffic go by. :wink:

Yep, That's the road. There is a wide area on the side of Abbott Dr. right as you turn off of hwy 14. I am planning to meet there.
