Trail Run: Sat 1/28/12 - Last Chance Canyon/Nightmare Gulch

Nightmare Gulch closes at the end of January and won't open again until July. Anybody interested in hitting this trail for the last time this season?

SAAVY GTS is the coolest thing!
During a routine check up ( lol ) I discovered I had completely busted my passenger lower control arm. That was 2 days before my Calico trip last weekend..so I had to hurry. Ended up putting a set of Rubicon Express lower control arms on. While I'm getting my SAAVY GTS, I'm also getting a pair of skid plates for my lower control arm brackets. And the last thing is a Currie Adjustable trackbar. Bits and pieces for me on this one. Didn't want to drop $1K...but the rest of the control arms; uppers and lowers, front and back are coming soon...drive shafts etc...I want to get rid of that transfer case skid due to my lift. $$$$ *Work in progress*

I really enjoyed last chance canyon a few months back, I'd love to hit it again before it's closed for the winter.

There ya go! I'm so happy that I have a driveway and garage now, It's been a blast finally getting to do all my own work on the jeep.

Looks like I'm free the 28th and my dad is up for being my navigator again. We did Nightmare Gulch with an MJR group last weekend of Jan 2011 too. We did some interesting side trips and saw Burro Schmidt Tunnel.
