    How awesome is that!!

We're rolling on 33's and lifted. I'm locked front and rear, we both have winches and straps. You may need a tug in a spot ot two, but no problem! You can call me on my cell at 805-415-0204. My buddy knows the freeways and stops better than I do. Let's shoot for meeting in the Burbank area..somewhere right off the FWY..like a gas station or something. I'll ask him tonight.

    We're tent camping...be fun!! :^)

I'm still relatively new to offloading, and don't have any experience on trails that are 'black diamond' rating, so we'll see how I do :-)

I would think Saturday..but we don't have that detailed of a plan. All we know is, we're going to hit all the good ones.

Daniel_Buck, A word of advice, go easy on the gas pedal! With your transfer case in low range and your tranny in first gear, you can just about idle over most obstacles. Also, you may have better results with just the front locker engaged. I recently had problems with a certain rock garden using both lockers. The next time it went through it, I only used the front locker. Worked Great! I got this advice from Mitch - the great88. He was right on.

Thanks for the tips Roger. I usually air on going slow rather than trying to power through something, so far that's usually worked for me (and it seems like the way to minimize potential damage to both the jeep and the trail!)

Yes, 4lo in 1st gear is nice and slow. And so much torque that I hardly ever have to worry about stalling, even in 2nd or 3rd gear idling along. Usually the only time's I have stalled offroad have been when I was changing gears (but not really that often). I'm looking forward to some more challenging trails though When I first got the jeep I thought that there was no way in hell I'd ever want to go that slow, but now I love it

I'll keep that in mind, locking the front first, or only the front while negotiating an obstacle. My rear is limited-slip when it's unlocked I believe. It seems to do pretty good even when unlocked

Hey daniel your more than welcome to come hang out with me and some of gadzuks suzuki sammi club members on Sat. Supposed to have a few firstimers so I dont think we will be doing anything too extreme. Maybe little john bull and gold mountain backwards and check out the gadzuks adopt a trail. We are going to try and meet up with Lorie (IH8RDS)and her buddy but its not up to me. We might do john bull depending on the outcome and if the vehicles are capable. I am pretty sure you and your jeep is capable of doing john bull just follow the person lines front of you and if you get stuck we have straps and winches to help you out. We are meeting @ stator bros parking lot right off the 210 and archibald @ 8am make sure you fill your tank and ready to go @ that time. Bring a lunch and plenty to drink its pretty much an all day event.

Yep, I always have at least 4 gallons of water with me, and extra food Since we'll be there for 3 nights, I'll probably bring more water just incase.
