Trail Report: Holcomb Creek trail

After a visit to the doctor's office this morning Fred pm ed me and asked if I felt like some 4 wheeling and to be honest the decision to play hookey from work took about 2 seconds. So of to Holcomb we went,on the way there we hooked up with Red Rubicon.
We ran it both ways and then finished with Dishpan, made for a very nice afternoon.
I must say the MJR trail crew did a ton of work on the trail and even more WoodPeckering. Looks like the trail took a pretty good beating last winter. My hat of to the core group of MJR AAT ers Y'all must have just about lived on the mountain to get that much work done in such a short amount of time.
The trail is in great shape and a lot of fun to run

Nice Trail

My daughter and I had a great day driving around the Big Bear area today. We started at Green Valley Lake, then headed over to the New Holcomb trail. Great trail! From there to a new mine Mitch sent me GPS coords to, then up to Bluff Lake & the Giant Lodgepole Pine trail.

The work done on the Holcomb trail has made it a first class trail. Very nice. Thanks to all those who worked on the trail. Your hard work is appreciated. The trail is better than ever.

Right now everything is in full bloom in the BB area.

Sometimes it is good to just cruze, explore and take pictures. I like the new camera.
