those rocks were in that spot for quite along time. did taking that line suddenly become popular? it is a sick line but blowing out the rocks so that Odessa (easy trail) has a scary spot for new wheelers stinks. the line just to the left of the rock stack is quite a bit more extreme but doable
haha true. you can still pass that spot without the rocks...it looks worse then it is. here is the exciting line to the left of the rock stack by my friend Taylor. its quite a bit harder, but dosnt need to be as tippy as this example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wbmnnq7FUg
I think my first time going UP that ledge was with Kurt as my passenger, at night...on the hard line up the side. My wife's YJ isn't very bad-a$$ but we walked up it pretty neatly. It taught me to trust the machine a bit more. And thanx Kurt for the awesome spotting.

Hey Schmo! What's your thoughts on this?? ( I spotted him through there a few years ago )
My seat still has a stain from that day! I never did get any pics of my Jeep teetering off the ledge. I for one appreciate HYE's efforts here . . . let the big dogs smash their shit on the gate keeper or the Hammers vs. turning a moderate trail into something extreme. If you all could have just stuck with 33's or 35's, some of this stuff would still be fun for ya!!!
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
