Trail Run: Rattlesnake Canyon

If the weather and knee permits,a couple of us are thinking of going to Rattlesnake canyon this coming Sunday.
I hear its a easy trail to break in the jeep plus there are a few mines to check out.
Can anybody tell me if we need lockers for this trail? or are we safe without. Any info on this trail will help.

We are not sure yet if we are going, if the knee ( having surgery March 4th) and the weather permits we will be going.
If you don't mind going with rusty four wheelers you are more then welcome to come. I will post mid week if the trip is a go.

Naw a good driver can do this trail in 2wd.

super easy but beautiful and fun. dont forget to poke around at the top and visit the joshua trees

Due to rain and maybe snow, we decided to wait till after my surgery to do this trail. Surgery is on the 4th of March, hopefully I will be on my feet quickly.
I will post with new date.
