Trail Run: Want to brake in the jeep

I would like to hit some easy/moderate runs to brake the jeep in and at the same time check out some mines also. Can anybody suggest some trails for me and a few buddies. We are thinking the last Sunday of February.
Any help would be appreciated!

Cleghorn! It's easy, or as hard as you want. Each obstacle has a chicken out path if you need it. Located in the Cajon Pass. There are hundreds of threads here on MJR about it.

cleghorn sounds like a great place to break in your rig. count me in for the last sunday in february, if you go.

Fredo - I don't have my map in front of me, but there's some main trails that run between Big Bear and the start of Rattlesnake Canyon that are closer to fire roads. Along the way are mines, as well as some trails that may have a bit of a challenge (if interested). For more mine info, Mitch (Great88) is the guy---he's a guru.
