  • Trail Report: Bullfrog Extreme #2

Got a call from Tom of Socialclimbers4x4Group to lead them on a run today. A great bunch of guys with some REALLY NICE CJ's. Makes me feel sad I sold my last CJ. So we had 3 CJ's and 3 TJ's. We lost one tj to a broken driveshaft.

This TJ got bit by the rock gods

Now this is a real jeep pig

Am I seeing this right? You had to break the rock to get the TJ out of harms way?

I note that no CJ's broke down only the TJ did. I'm just pointing that out...

                Oh man! Fighting words....
Well those are some of the nicest cj's I've seen. Wouldnt really call them cj's though. I mean, stretched, coiled, long armed? hmmm kinda sounds like a TJ in many ways.......Dont see to many tj's sporting leaf's, not that you don't....

And for the record I WAS a cj owner myself so I'm not being argumentative, just stirring some feathers....
1st batch TJ bought August of 96. Locked and Loaded!

That's what I was thinking. You can barely call those CJs at that point. Just like those Ford "Fusions" nascar drivers race.

Nice pic's. Got to the picture of the pig and realized that it was Mimi. Didn't recognize Brian & Alice in the pic's until I saw Mimi and started looking harder. Need to make it out to Cougar sometime...looks like fun.

Oh, come on, those CJs are virtually stock. I think my steering column and part of the frame is original. What more do you need?

But seriously, we had a great time running Bullfrog Extreme and Curtis was more than gracious to come out and show us around.
