  • Trail Run: Rattle Snake Canyon Run (Repeat)

Can we get a run through Rattle snake canyon again?
I went on my first run with MJR last year and meet some nice folks and would like to run some thing like that again in Febuary sometime.

    What do you guys think?

Sounds good now if we could get one of these seasoned vets to guide us through wheelin our way in the canyon that would be great.

Scott , the last time we went Mitch and some other fella i think Roger were seasoned wheelers and gave us the tour of some mines and some old houses on the trail oh and the desert turtle we saw in the wash. More than 15 rigs i think

You guys might think about Dixie mine rd. to rattlesnake and out to Hwy 247.

If it's a clear night you guys will really like this run. Doesn't get much better for a night run.

Someone should pre-run New Dixie Mine Rd. There's a nasty switchback on the steepist part of the trail. It was getting barely passable BEFORE the big storm. I'm not sure it is even passable now...

Too soon to know if I can make the run, but if I can I'll post up so.

                          After the meeting?

Maybe a few of us could pre-run after the meeting Saturday in BB? If I can get out of work; I'll be @ the mtg and would be game to check out Dixie Mine Rd

Not that it is the end of the world, or even illegal to consider, but that's Superbowl Sunday.... trails will be wide open.
