I agree on auto/manual. I'm manual too. Just a bear in the traffic. Can't make it - mandatory work day. Have fun - post lots of pics!

I agree, if we do get a good amount of snow Jacoby will make for a rough go of it as well. I think Thursday morning/mid morning we should have a much better grasp on this run and whether or not it will be a good one to do. If we do the run I'd hope that everyone has the same mindset as Taylor and only drive to your comfort levels and abilities (can you tell I ride motorcycles too?).

So far, no snow in Big Bear. Maybe a little at the tops of the ski runs. We're just getting tons of rain. I live in Moonridge at about 7,400 ft and whatever snow we did have has just washed away. I'll keep you guys posted on new snow up here if you like.

Ya I figure if we don't get any snow maybe I can ask some of our Ventura County folks for spots in the Frazier Park area and make a run there.

NO snow in Frazer Park either, I was wheeling up there yesterday and nothing but MUD & more MUD, but was fun.

Well with the forecast still calling for lots of rain and mud (from what I've seen) I think it's safe to say this run is a no go unless anyone else has other news to report?

Currently I'm showing Big Bear in the 40s with a little snow but with temps that warm I suspect it will melt in today's rain. I'm going to say we cancel this run, stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the Holiday with family. I'll check back tomorrow to see if anyone has seen any snow covered trails. Big Bear is 4wd/chains right now from Redlands.

                            Merry Christmas everyone!
