Posting up some videos..
Timmys last ride in SoCal
Long drive for a short amount of wheeling..
We drove out Saturday late afternoon. setup camp, started the campfire, weather was beautiful, stars everywhere.
Very nice place to camp and explore. We didn't have to go far to find some obsticles, cuz they are in every direction. You could break your junk with in 100 feet of your trailer if you wanted to..
Got up Sunday morning and gave the obsticle next to our campsite a try. Desided if we didn't head out to the trail soon we would be loading one of our broken rigs on a trailer. Dusty and Tim knew where the trailhead was so off we went. Cakewalk and Bullfrog the two trails inner twine each other, one seemed to offer harder obsticles then the other. We found ourselves getting off course here and there. kinda' hard to follow the markers and everything looks the same out there. Rock, rocks, more rocks and some sand. We didn't see any of the other trails (Hammerdown, Boulder Bash) All in all I'd say we got in about three hours of wheeling. Would have done more if I hadn't broken twice.. Driver axle shaft, 1 hr. to change that out had lunch. Back out wheeling for 15 mins. Hub was dragging, stop to fix that (mcgyver)
Back to wheeling 15 mins. broke driver side u-joint.. Forget it.. I'm done
Had a great time wheeling with you guys
