  • Trail Run: Big Chucky's forst trail ride

Met up with Chuck this morning to see how his beastie behaves on a trail ride. Before we left we ran in to Kevin and his son Scott, Chuck also brought a neighbor along so all in all 5 Jeeps for some fun on the put put trail. At the utility tower hill we figured out that the rear locker did not work other than that Chuck's Jeep flexes real nice. well here are some pics of the Beast strutting it's stuff

Well it has me convinced that even if I have to beg steal or borrow my second Jeep is getting coilovers front and rear, the flex and overall handling of Chucks Jeep is pretty darn good. He has a little bit of work left but overall did a great job on his beast.

Thanks Art for tagging along today. It was a fun day. I just need to stay away from trails with water and I should be ok. :hide: Kevin, it was nice running in to you and Scott today. Clad we ran in to you guys.

I guess Scott just put a 8.8 in his TJ so he was doing a shake down run as well. I had camera issues so I didn't get to many photos.

I pulled the air line already for the rear locker and it had not been damaged. It's got something clogged in it. Easy fix.
        Airing down.

Seems everyone was flexing good today. Even Kevin's Grand Cherokee.

        Art getting some air.

          Art,

I saw you cruising north on the 15 @ Sierra this morning about 9:40am. I was bummed when Chuck called and told me about the trip because I already had plans. Then Kevin called and I figured that he was going to support Chuck. I missed it again!

          Chuck,

I'm happy to see that it worked out well. I was only joking this morning when I called to see if it even started up .Good job!!!!

I can hear the wrenches turning on Kurt's bad boy right now, really turning fast now!!! Of course, I heard that Brian Nash is in the middle of a build, but you know what they say.......No pictures, it's not happening I wish I had money to build my dreams. Chuck, so impressed my friend!

Looks like a good time. I was out there yesterday. It sucks to see new trails getting burned in around the blocked areas. I hope we don't lose this whole trail!

Kurt was in such a hurry to get it done that he tried to fab an extra finger on one of his hands, got to watch those cutting disks. If ya need a hand Kurt just holler.

Yea. It was pretty sad to see that. I think every blocked section had a bypass already burned around it. There is still some nice sections they left open and made part of the MVUM.

On the plus side only a few of the blocked trails had something going around them and they where not really worn in all that well either. What makes me wonder is that what they left. has some illegal bypasses and they are not blocked of go figure.

I have no doubt you will find a way to get back to your usual antics, just have to work a little harder for it lol
