• Trail Run: Cleghorn late afternoon/ very early evening run

If any of you MJR peeps are up for some wheeling AFTERthe meet and greet winds down, then lets meet up at Cleghorn and the 15 FWY around 4pm or so for some wheeling fun. No we will not start earlier, since we got a lot of meeting and greeting to do.
This might be a nice extension of all this hanging out.
Well see ya at the Meet and Greet

Sounds like fun, may as well as I have to go that way to get home, Kevin.

I'm in! I need another shakedown on some changes to Mr. Green anyway.

Great,

I just cleaned the Jeep. Oh well it's on the way home. I'm up for a last look at our old trail. Be there!

oohhhh i want to go, but then that would mean i'd have to bring to xj instead of the yj for the topoff dealio if i wanna go wheeling afterwards :/ decisions!
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

sounds fun but FYI you may want to check out the thread about Cleghorn closures. May put a damper on the fun factor.

Well this was posted before the whole Cleghorn blocking debacle started seems to me a protest run to the ranger station is better suited

Bring the YJ. It will make it on Cleghorn as long as the 4-wheel drive works. There are by-passes for anything that you are concerned about. The toughest stuff has been blocked off now.

You know Art we have the right and previledge to express our concerns and views on things our public "servants" and officials do. If we don't let them know they sometimes think everything is OK.

The best way though is through respectful and responcible expressing of your view or concerne. You would be surprised how far one persons respectful challenge will go.

I think we all should say something if we can and when we can. But they will often write off someone who seems to just want to cause trouble, and sometimes that does more harm than good.

So let them know. The public's opinion "should" still matter, after all it's in the constitution.

You got that right Mike, it would be a good thing to express our concern. If some of those side trails were illegal, well they have been there for years. Last year a few new ones got created that should have been blocked off. I think it would be a good thing to go there with a large group that can behave to atleast make our concern publicly known

Anyone interested in stopping at the Silverwood Grill after the trail run? Cleghorn makes me crave sushi!:beer:
