Organized Event: BBQ and HAM!? Radio that is

I just wanted to get feedback on who might be interested in showing up, teaching or attending a meet and learn.

I know there's a lot of ham operators and some of you have even taught the classes.. Maybe we could do a BBQ at a park and just meet each other some of the HAM Operators could show off their rigs and general operation. Go through the study material and prep some of us n00bs for the test.

I know it's an easy study and pass but I think someone that is practiced with the edicate of radio operation would make for a much much better operator down the line than someone that just took the test until the right answers popped up.

Or let me know if this should be moved

But we can surely do another. There will also be a bunch of us at the BPS MNG on May 8th with radios.
