    Nah Mike, you give everybody the wrong impression, I am just a married good ole boy. Wifey has a fear of heights and my crazy stunts so the other day of the weekend is spend with her, seems like a fair trade one day for me and one for my darling

          got home.. went to a bday party.. and spent the rest of the night wrenchin on my little bros truck..

              Nice pictures thanks for posting up your trip. I have got to check out that old mining camp one of these days.

                How much snow is still up in Big Bear? Do you think John Bull, Gold Mountain, Dishpan, etc still have snow?
                That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.

                  Joe,

                  The south facing slopes are completely snow free and dry, like the begining of Gold Mountain to the top. I'm sure that the back side (north slope) still has some snow. Rattlesnake to Baldwin Lake was 100% clear with no snow, plus we could see most of Heartbreak Ridge, 2N71, and 2N70 which were clear. I'll try to get up there next weekend to search further. Thinking
                  3N16 through Holcolm Valley and Jacoby Canyon. I'll post an update.

                  Shant, What days do you have off my friend? It was grilling weather this weekend up there for sure.
