Trail Discussion: How Bad is Doran Loop

A couple of weeks ago a few frinds and myself went out trail riding outside Newberry Springs on Sat and to Calico on Sun. Well my friend had to go up the famous "Gatekeeper" and made it, but it took awhile and the wind was blowing so bad we left. Now we want to go back and finish the Doran Loop. I want to know how bad the rest of the trail is. I have been down Odessa with no problems, but thats it in that area.

this run was up duran and down odessa. you can see the worst waterfall in there. its not too bad but its takes some looking at

yeah the rubi took a odd line i thought but it worked out well and he made it up quick. i had to horse the heck out of my rig to get up.

just got back from duran. we ran it at night in the rain and its was easier then normal. made it to bismark in 1 hour.

In a hour... did that include the Gatekeeper or using the bypass?

oh hell no gatekeeper lol i drive my truck to and from the trails. i read the "rains" had made it easier but really its just good old fashion rock stacking. people have really filled in the low spots. ive got 33" tires so i didnt complain lol
