Met up with Nathan and Marni and their children also Al, David and Yeung in Lucerne Valley for a Bullfrog run.
It was a beautiful day in a very scenic area. We did most of Bullfrog and some of Cakewalk. We weren't always sure where we actually were as there are so many trails and many cross each other.
Nathan did an excellent job of leading, picking the right lines and spotting us. Got me through some tight spots, really tight.
Nathan had a large rock in the trail kick up and jam up into his wheel well and behind the front axle. Had to jack up the front end then David dug under the rock with a shovel to finally get it free. Really a freaky deal.
Al showed us that lockers are not a requirement and got through with minimal commotion with David spotting out of the passenger window.
Yeung in his Toyota pickup just waltzed though it all effortlessly.
It was a most excellent day. Thanks to all for making it enjoyable.
