This is still on. Forecast is looking good.

Clear. Lows in the lower 40s to lower 50s. Highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s.

If it is at all possible I plan on taking Friday off. If not I will be on the road by 1pm. I won't know until Thursday as this is shaping up to be a busy week at work. I will post up as soon as I know what time I expect to be in camp.

I will be in the F250/camper sans Jeep. I will be heading South on 1-15 all the way to I-8. East to Ocotillo. North on S2 to Dos Hombres Rd and into camp.

I know it says stock 4wd should be able to make it.
Friend is asking if stock 2wd Toyota Tundra could make it to the trailhead...he's experienced off road driver, just doesn't want to tow his CJ5 Jeep out there.
              thanks

I have driven Morteo Wash to the trailhead. It has deep soft sand that I would not take a 2wd into. Dos Hombres Rd also leads to the trailhead. I have never driven Dos Hombres Rd but I have been told that 2wd should not have any trouble.

Dos Cabezas Rd not Dos Hombres. Sorry. You will have to turn off Dos Cabezas to get to the trailhead.
