Steve, what happened? Went for some play in the hammers instead? We waited for you for a bit and then proceeded to have our fun. Mitch we missed ya, its time for the great88 to tackle that fire road. Was a fun run the trail was properly torn and dug up which made for some new line finding and a nice challenge. Afterwards we did some extra credit stuff then headed to Heartbreakridge where the rest of the group did some mine exploring and I headed home to take care of some wifey do's.
Besides it being a bit chilly, it was a great day on the trail, lots of wheeling and a bit of winching to put icing on the cake.
                    Fire roads rule lol

Well, I had a good time, even though Steve wasn't there, again. :-)

Thanks very much to Curtis for posting up this run and doing an awesome job navigating flawlessly through (to me) the maze of trails on the east side of Big Bear. We started off on 2N01, took it down to the south end of Rattlesnake, then headed north to the Wash. After cruising through the Wash, we then headed up short little butt kicker of a wash near Heartbreak Ridge. I got hopelessly hung up, and "trail modified" varies bits and pieces underneath, but nothing a bit of Krylon can't hide from the wife ;-)

                      I posted 24 images here:

                          Nathan,

Great Pictures. That little fire road can be tough on your equipment for sure. I thought that my earlier commitment would be done in time to find you guy's. Glad that you had a good day
