• Trail Report: Swamp and Coyote Lakes Revisited!

I know that I'm dragging up a trail run from last month, but I finally got motivated to create a video.

YouTube didn't sensor my sound this time, so the longer version can be found at this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52hCdM0SWoY

I also posted a slightly shorter version to Vimeo:

I have finally stopped drinking for good.
Now I drink for evil.....

Mike,

What a great video. As soon as I quit buying Leafsprings, Brake Boosters, New tires..... I'll buy a real video camera. Good job.

It really is an incredibly beautiful place. I can't wait until next Spring so I can get up to that area of the Sierra Nevada Mtns again.

I would love to have a nice group of MJR folks for the next run after the winter snows melt.

After our conversation yesterday...you're really trying to get me to do this run in the winter huh?

Yes, this is now a "must do" for Barb and I. Barb just doesn't know it yet. I'll get in contact with ya and figure out best dates and ensure rig capability. Driver is totally incapable, we already know that.

Swamp is a great trail, and it usually opens around memorial day weekend, give or take a couple of weeks.
Really depends on how much snow we get.

I love offraoding videos but I'd rather hear the roar of the engines and the squeaks of the suspension when I watch stuff like this. These videos don't need any kind of music whatsoever. Just listening to a Jeep go over rocks or ruts is music to the ears.
