• Trail Run: 2nd Annual Honor our Veteran's Day Run

Last year we had a great time on the Veteran's day run. I thought it would be cool to celebrate our Vet's by hosting another run.

This year, I thought a run around the Ord & Rodman Mountains North of Lucerne Vally would be a good run. November usually still has decent weather.

We'll check out mines, springs & petroglyphs. So if you like getting out and exploring, let me know if you can make it.

My stupid computer wouldn't let me back in to edit this post. The AAT day is on the 7th. Not sure why I thought it was on the 11th. BUT! I may have to work at the new job that day. Marine Corps Birthday is the the 10th, but as per usual, I will be working that day. Seems that even when retired, there is no rest for the wicked.

But if I'm not working!... I will be there!

Roger, Sounds like a fun way to spend my B-Day! and being a Vet, I'd sure love to make this one! I'm off the 11th.... but, I work a mid shift the night before and I get off work at 0700 that morning so, tryin to drive from Rialto to LV and being ready to go by 0830 might be pushin it a bit!!! I'll let you know!

... and yes! I like John's "Manditory American Flag on all vehicles" thing!

                    Scott,

You know you are on my "A" list of best buds. If you can make it, I will buy you an extra large coffee!

The Amarican flag idea sounds great. I'll have to try to find one. Walmart maybe?

I will do my best to be there!

and yes...... Walmart! Just get one of those flags with the stick that clips onto your car window, take it off the stick and it will slide right over your cb antenna. Then poke a few small holes through it and zip tie it on! I believe thats what Mitch did!

Sorry Mitch, I'm givin away your secrets! :bonk:

                        Scott,

Would it help you if I change the time to 9:00 or 9:30 AM? I don't think anyone would mind. Nipple twister is coming from Huntington Beach and If Nick comes he'll be heading in from 29 stumps.

                        Let me know.

After the run, let's go to Applebee's for dinner. Veterans eat free:
