We had a Firestik Antenna stolen from an FJ in our group today! Cheap Bastards!!

Show was small! A lot of clothes and even a 350 engine BBQ for $595.00...LOL! You just have to see it... The thing is cool but the grill is small and it is EXPENSIVE...

Well to all who venture out - HAVE FUN and protect you parts!

Not sure if I'm going to make it or not . . . were there any good deals? Did most the manufactures have parts to sell or just on display. I was hoping to at least pick up a new Rock Hard Sticker seeing that the trail has removed most of the one I have on my Jeep.

I went on saturday, Savvy offroad was there. Good to see Gerald and Nik, Has a great display of his alummium parts. Also met up with Jim Cox [J.C.FAB DESIGN]. He is at the Henson Booth. The show was smaller, but I was looking for a few things and ideas for my TJ.

Had a good time chatting with Nik and Gerald from Savvy . . . I see some aluminum bling on my Jeep in the near future!!! I'd heard about the parts but seeing them up close was great . . . the contours on the gas tank are sweet and not that I need them yet but the full corners that weigh a whopping 12 pounds . . . seems like a no brainer . . . for when the time comes. It was smaller again this year, the usual suspects, but a good way to waste a day that I wasn't out wheelin or ridin.

I had a good show. Was impressed at how many rigs and vendors were equiped with Viking recovery gear. All J from Big Bear had a lot of stuff on hand, and a cool JK with some unobvious features and touches. I liked the Treks jeeps that were outside. Looked like very functional rigs. Great ladder, rack, rear bumper set up for JK's. Was awesome to see how many jeeps were sporting a Hanson bumper ( probably over half ). Met Steve, new, new owner of Hanson (2nd in 2 years!). He seems really good at listening to feedback, and receptive two new ideas. Nice guy, good to see Hanson in good hands. PureJeep had dome cool stuff as well. Saw a great two battery setup based in Oddessy 1250's from the guys who make the inboard Power Welder. LOTS of new LED based rocks out there, prices are coming down. Gen-Right's got one, VisonX has a sweet one for $120 with 8 lights, controller, and remote operation.

Got to talk to Gerald and Nick from Savvy, and drooled over there new side protectors and alum tank skid.
                  Good day!

Loved Expo this year! Lotsa people but a little smaller venue. I actually thought it was better as you could really see it all and have time to do it. W.E. Rock next weekend at the Urban Assault OHV Combat Zone in Oroville this weekend...here I come!!!
