Going up from Hwy 18 / North Shore Dr is the best! I've never done it from the 3N16 side! I had a buddy run it with me and even with his locker, he had a hard time getting over some of the stuff on this trail!

Holy crap. I thought you were joking. Did you have to cut your fenders to fit your 35s?

I had already cut the plastic fenders. While not as good as a job as Scott's. I did that while back. I also did the 2" body lift too. So, it has a 6" lift now with the 4" suspension lift.

Ron will be fine, it's just like the dirt roads he's been running and practicing on. I can't wait for the pictures!

No pictures of my jeep allowed. They are copyrighted. Although, for the right price....We can talk.

I need to make sure the jeep is air brished and looks puuuurty before hand. Oh, and before someone asks, I am just BS'ing about the pictures and rattling Mitch's cage

There will be a vehicle check for cameras before the trail starts :bart:

Last time I was up on Gold Mtn (about 2 months ago) It was pretty tricky in some of those hair pin turns and the first obsticale was real rutted out! I tried three different lines to get up that sucker!..... finally made it but it wasn't pretty! Don't get me wrong it's a fun trail but it will beat the crap out of you for sure! I felt it for days after I ran that trail! Bring a pillow to sit on and get the Motrin ready!!!!

Matt are you running it from the 3N16 side or going around to the front, off Hwy 18??
To the front Baldwin lake side. More of a challenge that way. I was up there last April and the trail has changed some. However, my rig went through it like a stroll in the park. I was also up on John Bull Trail quite recently also,...same thing, like a stroll through the park on easy street. But still fun fun fun. For those interested in pics check out the trail reports on my site.
